20th century A.D. A fragment of Roman mosaic glass set into a later gilt ring with hexagonal bezel. 9.29 grams, 31.38 mm overall, 18.37 mm internal diameter (approximate size British P, USA 7 1/2, Europe 16.23, Japan 15) (1 1/4 in.). English private collection.
