Medieval Ring with Cabochon
Circa 15th century A.D. A ring composed of a flat-section hoop decorated with cross-hatching, supporting a discoid bezel set with a clear glass(?) cabochon with foil backing. 2.39 grams, 24.40 mm overall, 20.17 mm internal diameter (approximate size British S, USA 9, Europe 20, Japan 19) (1 in.). Acquired in the late 1990s-2000.Property of an East London gentleman. [No Reserve]
