Ancient Greek Coins - Attica - Athens - Owl AR Tetradrachm
After 449 B.C. Obv: head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev: A?E with owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. SNG Copenhagen 31-35; Kroll 8. Svoronos pls. 12-13 passim; Sear 2526. 17.17 grams.
