Description

Tudor Purse Bar Circa 1450-1550 A.D. A copper-alloy purse bar of Ward-Perkins type B3, composed of a round-section bar with globular terminals and articulate loop. Portable Antiquities Scheme report number DENO-E6C546. 40 grams, 11.3 cm (4 3/8 in.). Found near Granby, Nottinghamshire, UK, by Ken Burrell whilst searching with a metal detector on Saturday 1st November 2016. Accompanied by a copy of the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme report number DENO-E6C546. [No Reserve]
