Viking Age Silver Axe Pendant 9th-12th century A.D. A silver pendant composed of a penannular hoop decorated with pellets to one terminal, and articulate axe head with rectangular butt and punched dashes to one face. 2.88 grams, 36 mm (1 3/8 in.). German art market, 1990s. Mr A.H., a North American collector living in the UK. [No Reserve]
