Marlik Spearhead 14th-10th century B.C. A triangular Bronze Age blade with shallow but well projecting midrib, round shoulders and long folded socket. Cf. Khorasani, M.M., Arms and Armour from Iran - The Bronze Age to the End of the Qajar Period, Tuebingen, 2006, p.626, cat.271. 195 grams, 33.5 cm (13 1/4 in.). Abelita family collection, 1980-2015. The spearhead is of type VIII of the Khorasani classification, of subtype B, with triangular blade. Similar ones have been found in the Marlik Royal Cemetery by Dr Negahban, in trench III D, tomb 1.
