A ceramic horse and separately modelled rider figure; horse standing with head erect and facing forwards, ears pricked, mouth slightly ajar, cropped mane and semi-naturalistic anatomical detailing; the rider facing forwards with one leg either side of the horse's body; remains of polychrome pigmentation; socket to receive the absent tail. 3.15 kg total, 40.5 cm high (16 in.).
