Phiale Bowl Collection 1st millennium B.C. A mixed group of four copper-alloy phiale libation bowls comprising: one ribbed with fluted wall, everted rim and central omphalos; one with everted rim and plain body; one with a plain bowl with D-section wall, shallow c-section shoulder and rounded base; a lotiform bowl with plain everted rim. 870 grams total, 14.5-18.5 cm (5 3/4 - 7 1/4 in.). Acquired in the 1970s-1980s. Private collection, thence by descent. Private collection since 1998. [4] For this specific lot, 5% import VAT is applicable on the hammer price
