France - Henry II - 1550 - Gros de 6 Blancs. Dated 1550 A.D. Paris mint. Obv: crowned H with lis around with HENRICVS II DI G FRANCORVM REX legend. Rev: floriate cross with mintmark 'A' below and SIT NOMEN DNI BENEDICTVM legend and date. 5.68 grams. With old collector envelope. Acquired CNG Auction, lot 674 (part). Property of a Kent gentleman.
