Scotland - Alexander III - 23 Points - Long Cross Penny. 1280-1286 A.D. Class Mc. Obv: profile bust with +ALEXANDER DEI GRA legend. Rev: long cross with six-pointed mullet in first three quarters and five-mounted star in fourth, totalling 23 points and dividing REX SCO TOR VM+ legend, possibly for Aberdeen mint. S. 5055. 1.08 grams. Found Norfolk, UK, before 2001. Private collection of Mr M.H., Norfolk, UK. [No Reserve]
