Ireland - Edward I - Dublin - Penny. 1279-1284 A.D. Second coinage, early issues, class I. Obv: facing bust within triangle with EDW R / ANGL D / NS HYB legend. Rev: long cross and pellets dividing CIVI TAS DVBL INIE legend for Dublin mint. S. 6246. 1.23 grams. Found whilst searching with a metal detector, Isle of Wight, UK, on 6 May 2017. Recorded by Isle of Wight Portable Antiquities Scheme Liaison Officer with reference numbers SZ 40076 and BNG 87268. [No Reserve]
