Description

Faustina I - Providentia AR Denarius. After 147 A.D. Rome mint. Obv DIVI FAVSTINA legend with draped bust right. Rev: AETERNITAS legend with Providentia standing left with veil billowing out holding globe. RIC 351; BMC 373; RSC 32; Sear 4578. 3.08 grams. Found by John Harrison whilst searching with a metal detector in Lancashire or Cumbria, UK. [No Reserve]
