Henry VI - Calais - Rosette Mascle Groat. 1430-1431 A.D. Rosette Mascle issue. Obv: facing bust within tressure with +HENRIC DI GRA REX[mascle]ANGL Z FRANC legend with rosette stops. Rev: long cross and pellets with POSVI DEVM ADIVTORE MEVM and VIL[mascle]LA CALISIE[rosette] legends for Calais mint. S. 1859; N. 1446. 3.08 grams. Found Norfolk, UK, before 2001. Private collection of Mr M.H., Norfolk, UK. [No Reserve]
