Manuel I Comnenus - EL Aspron Trachy. 1167-1183 A.D. Constantinople mint. Obv: Christ Pantokrator enthroned facing with IC-XC across upper fields. Rev: Manuel standing facing, wearing stemma, divitision and chlamys, holding labarum on long shaft and globus cruciger, crowned by the Virgin Mary standing to left, wearing tunic and maphorium; M between, MAN?H? to left, ?V and ??C?OT to right. DOC 6d; Sear 1961. 4.24 grams. Old European collection. [No Reserve]
