Nero - Annona and Ceres AE Sestertius. 65 A.D. Lugdunum mint. Obv: NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P P legend with laureate bust right. Rev: ANNONA AVGVSTI CERES legend with Annona standing right holding cornucopia facing Ceres seated left holding corn-ears and torch with modius on garlanded altar between and ship stern in background; S C in exergue. RIC 390/430; BMC 305/307; Sear 1952. 24.96 grams. Property of a Cambridgeshire gentleman. Accompanied by a previous cataloguing ticket. [No Reserve]

Near very fine; some surface damage to obverse.
