L. Plautius Plancus - Medusa AR Denarius. 47 B.C. Rome mint. Obv: L PLAVTIVS beneath facing head of the Medusa. Rev: PLANCVS beneath Victory (or winged Aurora) flying right, holding reins and conducting the four rearing horses of the Sun.
