Macedonia - Alexander III (the Great) - Countermarked AR Tetradrachm. 213-212 B.C. Posthumous issue, Perga, Pamphylia mint, dated year 6. Obv: head of Herakles right, wearing lionskin headdress with Seleukid anchor countermark. Rev: ALEXANDROY to right of Zeus seated left, right leg drawn back, holding eagle and sceptre; square C over Phi in left field, O beneath chair. Price 2841; Heipp-Tamer 98. 15.80 grams.
