Secondary Phase - Series J, Type 36 - Two Birds AR Sceatta. 710-760 A.D. Obv: diademed bust right with cross before. Rev: two birds. S. 802D; N. 134. 0.91 grams. Found whilst searching with a metal detector, Isle of Wight, UK, on 29 April 2021. Recorded by Isle of Wight Portable Antiquities Scheme Liaison Officer with reference numbers SZ 39875 and BNG 87267. Recorded with the Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) with record number IOW-613ADF, and accompanied by a copy of the PAS report. [No Reserve]
