An Archaic or Woodland period speckled syenite axe head with tapering lentoid section blade, waisted neck and butt with tapering sides. 211 grams, 99 mm (3 7/8 in.) From Spencer County, Indiana, USA. Byron Knobloch collection. Alex Szolin Ancient Art, UK. Dr D.G. collection, 1990s-2019. Accompanied by an old typed catalogue slip.
