Gilt 'Honour the Giver' Posy Ring. 18th century A.D. A gilded brass D-section hoop, interior inscribed 'Honour the giver' in script. 2.71 grams, 22.97 mm overall, 19.64 mm internal diameter (approximate size British T 1/2, USA 9 3/4, Europe 21.89, Japan 21) (7/8 in.) Acquired on the UK antiques market between 1974-1985. Albert Ward collection (part 3), Essex, UK. Accompanied by an old handwritten title card. [No Reserve]
Very fine condition. A large wearable size.
