A silver button with bulbous head and slender suspension loop, stamped with maker's mark 'RW' in a sub-rectangular cartouche, two piercings through the head; hollow. 2.6 grams, 19 mm (13.3 grams total, 57 x 37 mm including case) (3/4 in. (2 1/4 x 1 5/8 in.)). Found Thames foreshore, Customs House, London, UK, 1 February 2006. Accompanied by a Museum of London and Portable Antiquities Scheme record no.LON-BC17A3.
