A 15ct gold mourning ring with cross on elliptical bezel inlaid with black enamel and pearls (two absent), hallmarked Birmingham, 625 with a 1876-1877 date letter, reading 'John Harrison ob 31 Dec 1876 ae 67'. 2.78 grams, 21.34 mm overall, 17.35 mm internal diameter (approximate size British N 1/2, USA 6 3/4, Europe 14.35, Japan 13) (3/4 in.)
