Medieval Thomas Becket Pilgrim's Badge. 14th-15th century A.D. A lead-alloy pilgrim's badge designed as the head of Thomas Becket, the martyred Archbishop, shown facing, wearing a decorated and bejewelled mitre, beneath which emerge curly locks of hair, semi-naturalistic facial detailing; pin to reverse. 4.45 grams, 37 mm (1 1/2 in.) Found Thames foreshore, Billingsgate, London, UK. [No Reserve]
