Viking Beast-Headed Bracelet. 9th-12th century A.D. A penannular bracelet composed of a flat-section body, raised and decoratively notched medial rib, repeated above and below, terminals formed as figurative roaring beast heads with pricked ears, beady eyes and wrinkled snouts. 11 grams, 52 mm (2 in.)
