Viking Age Bracelet with Bear's Heads. 9th-11th century A.D. A flat-section penannular bracelet with raised medial rib, slender ribs either side, band of zigzags in both halves, stylised bear's head to each terminal, claws gripping the vertical edges. 85 grams, 64 mm (2 1/2 in.) Acquired 1971-1972. From the collection of the vendor's father. Property of a London, UK, collector. [No Reserve]
