Anglo-Saxon 'Thames' Artefact Group. Mainly 6th-10th century A.D. A mixed group of mostly incomplete Thames artefacts comprising: a zoomorphic strap end; clothes fasteners; square mount with floral design; two decorated fragments; a wooden fitting with tapering profile; a horse-shoe. 265 grams total, 1.5-12.7 cm (1/2 - 5 in.) Found Thames spoil, City of London, and Kent, UK. [8, No Reserve]
