Bronze Age Socketted Axehead. c.12th-8th millennium B.C. The majority of a socketted axehead with a crescentic blade and tapering rectangular-section socket. 140 grams, 85 mm (3 1/4 in.) UK gallery, acquired in the 2000s. Property of an English gentleman. [No Reserve]
Fair condition, socket damaged.
