Stone Age Tenerian Ground Stone Axe. 8th-6th millennium B.C. A ground stone axe head with a tapering, lentoid-section body and convex cutting edge. 225 grams, 11 cm (4 3/8 in.) From Tenera region, South Central Sahara. Acquired 1960s-1970s. Ex French collection. Accompanied by an old catalogue slip. [No Reserve]
