Framed Persian Watercolour Painting with Couple Holding a Rose-Ringed Parakeet. 19th-20th century A.D. A painting of a couple kneeling beneath a canopy, the male with a goblet and the female with a tame male Rose-Ringed Parakeet (Psittacula krameri) which she feeds by hand; mounted in a glazed wooden frame. 774 grams, 34 x 26 cm (13 3/8 x 10 1/4 in.) Acquired on the UK art market, 1980s-1990s. The Woodbridge collection of Indo-Persian art.

Very fine condition.
