Celto-Iberian Gold Neck Torc. 4th-2nd century B.C. A heavy penannular gold neck torc with carinated body and tapering coiled terminals. 165 grams, 14.8 cm (5 3/4 in.) Nefer Gallery, Zurich, 1980s. With Christie's New York, 7 December 2006, lot 224 (US$20,000-$30,000). French private collection. Accompanied by a copy of the relevant Christie's catalogue pages. This lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate no.11177-188113.
