Roman Priapus Statuette. 1st-3rd century A.D. A bronze Priapus figure modelled standing with detailing to face, beard and hair, hands held in front of body holding robes aloft to expose exaggerated and erect genitalia; mounted on a display base. 54 grams total, 90 mm including stand (3 1/2 in.) Acquired 1990s-2000s. Ex A. Garcia collection, France. [No Reserve]
