Description

Greek Gold Artefact Collection. 5th-3rd century B.C. A group of gold artefacts mainly comprising jewellery components: a sheet-gold pendant with suspension loop and openwork design; a disc with raised central cell set with garnet; decorative bead halves; a granulated bead; a stud; wire element with applied bead; a conical mount with granulation; a bird with granulated detailing; most fragmentary. 4.41 grams total, 3-52 mm (1/4 - 2 in.) Acquired on the UK art market in the 1990s. From the private collection of a central London lady. [9, No Reserve]
