Description
Stone Age Danish Polished Flint Chisel. Neolithic, c.2500-1750 B.C. A polished flint chisel with rectangular central body, tapering to lentoid-section terminals; 'DK4 1960' and finspot handwritten on the body. 120 grams, 15.3 cm (6 in.) Found Limfiord, Denmark, 1960s. Private collection, Rotterdam, by descent. Property of a Sussex, UK, teacher. Accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity from Dick Meijer Antiquteiten.
