Edward VI - 1549 - Canterbury - Base Shilling. Dated 1549 A.D. Second period. Obv: profile bust with EDWARD VI D G AGL FRA Z HIB REX legend with 't' mintmark. Rev: arms with TIMOR DOMINI FONS VITE MDXLIX legend at Canterbury mint. S. 2468; N. 1921. 4.46 grams. Found Norfolk, UK, before 2001. Private collection of Mr M.H., Norfolk, UK. [No Reserve]
Very fine; flan cracked and chipped. Scarce.
