Ram's Head Finial. 2nd-1st millennium B.C. A carved stone ram's head modelled with curled horns, shallow recessed eyes and rounded muzzle, circular socket and piercing to reverse. 48.6 grams, 47 mm wide (2 3/4 in.) Acquired on the UK art market in the 1990s. From the private collection of a central London lady. [No Reserve]
