Roman Animal-Headed Bracelet. 2nd-4th century A.D. A bronze penannular bracelet with lozenge-section hoop and collared terminals formed as stylised dog or wolf heads, with detailing to their faces, ears and coats. 27.1 grams, 58 mm (2 1/4 in.) Collection since 1995. Bavaria, Germany, before 2000. Property of a UK gentleman. [No Reserve]
