Hittite Terracotta Figure. c.12th-8th century B.C. A ceramic fertility idol with stylised anatomical features, hands clasping full breasts, wearing neck ornamentation and voluminous wig, detailing to pubic region. 133 grams, 16 cm high (6 1/4 in.) Acquired 1970-1999. London collection of the late Mr S.M., thence by descent.
