Pamphylia, Side. Silver Stater (10.88 g), ca. 460-430 BC. Pomegranate; to upper right, forepart of lion left. Rev. Helmeted head of Athena right within incuse square. Atlan 24 (O22/A22); SNG BN 626 (same obv. die). Mostly well struck on an excellent flan with an artful image of Athena on the reverse. Rare in such choice condition. Delicate old cabinet tone. Superb Extremely Fine. Estimate Value $1,500 - UP
