Diva Mariniana. Æ Sestertius (16.15 g), died before AD 253 Rome, AD 253/4. DIVAE MARINIANAE, diademed, veiled and draped bust of Mariniana right. Reverse: CONSECRATIO around, S C across field, Peacock standing facing, head left, tail in splendor. Cf. RIC 9 (head of peacock to right); MIR 36, 212d. Green patina. Minor roughness and a flan crack. About Very Fine.
