Parthian Kingdom. Mithradates II. Silver Tetradrachm (15.66 g), 121-91 BC Seleukeia on the Tigris, ca. 120/19-109 BC. Diademed bust of Mithradates II left. Reverse: Archer seated right on omphalos, holding bow; monogram to inner left, palm branch to outer right. Cf. Sellwood 24.5 (form of monogram); Shore 68. Beautifully toned and perfectly centered on a larg flan. Superb Extremely Fine.
