Crete, Polyrhenion. Silver Hemidrachm (1.67 g), ca. 200-67 BC Diademed bust of Artemis facing slightly right, with bow and quiver at shoulder. Reverse: ΠΟΛΥ-(PH)/ΝΙΩΝ, Apollo standing left, holding bow and filleted palm. Svoronos 43; SNG Copenhagen 538. Rare. Of the six examples that have appeared on CoinArchives over the past twenty-odd years, this is tied for the finest. Toned. About Very Fine.
