Researched Order of A. Suvorov 3rd Class. Type 2. Award # 11553.
Silver. Type 2, screwback. Comes with original silver screwback nut, and exhibits the original length long screw. Comes with scans of award card and citation. Awarded to Lieutenant Colonel Nesterov T.T. by decree of June 14, 1945. At the time of awarding, comrade Nesterov was serving as commander of 28th mine throwing brigade, 23rd division, on 2nd Belorussian front. According to citation, the order of Suvorov 3rd class #11553 was bestowed upon comrade Nesterov for his skillful command during crossing of Oder River.
Condition: Flawless enamels in the letters, barely any signs of wear, nice old patina.
