Description

ROMAN REPUBLIC & IMPERATORIAL. Mn. Aemilius Lepidus.
Silver denarius, 114 BC. Rome.
Obv: laureate, diademed and draped bust of Roma right; star behind, ROMA (partially ligate) upwards before. Rev: three arches supporting equestrian statue; horseman wearing cuirass and wreath and holding spear; MN•AEMILIO (partially ligate) around, L-E-P between arches below.

Good Very Fine; rev. struck off-centre, nicely toned.
