Description

ANCIENT GREECE. HUNNIC TRIBES, HEPHTHALITES. Vakhu Deva.
Silver Drachm, circa AD 720. Uncertain mint in Zabulistan or Seistan.
Obv: crowned Sasanian-style bust right, with lion's head between wings; Brahmi legends in fields, Baktrian legend around rim. Rev: fire altar with attendants and ribbons; Pahlavi legends in fields, Baktrian legend around rim.

Good Very Fine; plugged with gold, countermarked.
