On the 10th of May 1881, Rudolf, Crown Prince of Austria, married Princess Stéphanie of Belgium, a daughter of King Leopold II of Belgium, at the Augustinian Church in Vienna.
The box displays the date split between the two-headed Austro-Hungarian imperial eagle.
