Description

ANCIENT GREECE. PERSIA, ACHAEMENID EMPIRE.
Silver Tetartemorion , 4th Century BC. Uncertain mint in Cilicia.
Obv: Persian king or hero in kneeling-running stance right, holding knife and bow. Rev: female head facing slightly right.

Good Very Fine; an interesting variation on the typical and well-known Persian tetartemorion.
