ROMAN EMPIRE. Caracalla.
Silver Antoninianus, AD 213-217. Rome.
Obv: ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev: VENVS VICTRIX, Venus, crowned and draped, standing left, holding transverse spear and Victory, shield behind.

Extremely Fine; lovely old cabinet tone, which accentuates a bold portrait of Caracalla, with hints of blue iridescence.
