Description

ANCIENT GREECE. KINGDOM OF AXUM. Hataz (Hethasas).
Bronze Unit, circa AD 600-630.
Obv: daped bust facing, wearing crown with pendants and holding cross on staff before chest; Ge'ez legend ("king Hataz") around. Rev: cross within lozenge from which four crosses emanate; Ge'ez legend ("mercy to the peoples") around.

Very Fine; areas of weak strike.
