Unsigned struck medal on the siege by Spanish troops.
The siege of Haarlem (December 1572 - July 1573) was a major event in the Eighty Years' War, where Spanish forces under Philip II besieged the Dutch city until its surrender, resulting in the massacre of its garrison after starvation forced capitulation.
