Obv.: The river god Nile, with ears of grain in his right hand, lies on his left and supported by a sphinx, behind him a cornucopia with grapes; CONQUETE DE LA / BASSE EGYPTE / AN VII in exergue.
Rev.: The three pyramids of Giza; DENON DIR. in exergue.
Extremely fine, lovely deep toning.
